I am using Finale 27.4.1, Windows 10. This is not a huge issue, but one that annoys me. When I enter a hyphenated lyric beginning on say, a dotted half note, Finale enters three hyphens between the syllables. I only want one. I have a workaround, but it is more time-consuming. Is there something I am missing?

In Program Options > Lyrics you will find a spot to increase the space between hyphens.

I think you meant Document Options. I increased the maximum space between hyphens from .5 to 1.0 and that worked. Thanks for your help.
