I'm using Finale 25.1 running on Windows 10. I make score. I have 9 pages and the ninth (9.) page has two grand staffs and seven measures. That I will preserve (save) - so I will conclude the second part of the score. Now, I would be continue with thirty part on the page 10 - under of the title of the thirty part. That means, I will make and continue on the page 10 with the newly staff systems, without continuity from the page 9, from the second part. How can I do that? Thank you about answers, that I can't in no way find else!

If you wish to change the instruments in the third part (a new movement?), I can think of two options:

  1. You can put all the instruments for all movements in from the beginning but hide the empty staves in the parts/pages/movements that do not use them, or...
  2. You can start a new file for your third section/movement and set the pages to start at page 10. This will work for your full score, but may make the pages illogical in individual instrument parts.

I hope I have interpreted your needs correctly. If not, please ask again.

Most experienced users do each movement as a separate file. Then there are no problems changing instumentation, keys, time signatures, etc. You can save them individually as PDFs, and combine them for printing.

Thank you, Adrian and Mike, about answers. Probably will I start the new movement (the thirty movement) with the new file. Then I will combine - the movements - during PDFs. (In my case was required only to disconnect or to break the measures.) Thank you at once about your effort and collaboration. All the best.
