Reverting to showing measure numbers at the beginning of each system

I'm using Printmusic 2011, and have a score based on a particular template which by default shows every individual measure number. I would like to have just the measure number showing at the beginning of each system. How do I do this, and if I can, will it propagate to extracted parts?

With the disclaimer that I do not use PrintMusic (you may want to ask at http://forum.makemusic.com/default.aspx?f=5 before MM closes it down, since there are a number of expert PrintMusic users there), but if PrintMusic has options similar to Finale then...

Measure numbers would be accessible through the "Edit Measure Number Regions" option in the Measure Tool

Thank you very much. Sadly, Printmusic does not offer that dialogue box through the Measure Tool. Maybe I need to upgrade :) but I'll check the forum first - thanks for the tip.

If PrintMusic does not have the ability to change measure number parameters, then you'd need to get someone to correct it in full Finale 2011 or earlier (which is what likely happened to give you what you have). Then you can re-import.

Alternatively you could try hiding the measure numbers you don't want.

Try setting up a new score in PM and copy the notes over.

Thanks, people. I was hoping to avoid it (it's quite a complex score), but I think I will have to bite the bullet and set up a new template and copy it over. Or maybe it is time to upgrade to Finale after all!
