I know I can construct my own chords and call them like CopenG, but are there fretboard patterns for openG tunings, and if so how do I reference them?
thanks mike; I write a LOT of music for guitar, and I have built pretty much a new library for almost every tune I have written, which is incredibly inefficient but I still, even though its been explain before, do not know how to construct what I would call my master library. This way, every time I find a voicing that is not in the library, I add one, and I can use it later. I did make a chord type called drpD ( GdrpD, CdrpD, etc..). But before I make a openG set of fretboards it occurred to me, that since finale furnishes a openG tab, that it might have openG fretboards. Its not hard to build your own chords, but it they already exist then it can be a lot easier. I wish I could actually take a killer finale course to really learn all the tricks in this tool, especially everything to do with libraries.
