In order to reproduce the problem we need more info.

!) Are you using Mac Finale v27 ?

2) Is the Finale document a 1-staff document - with only a TAB staff?

Or is it a 2-staff document - with a standard staff and a TAB staff?

2) You wrote “when copied to openG tab show the chord on fret 0, not 12”.

Your word “show” tells us that you are looking at the computer screen.

But what about the playback?

Is the playback correct? - or is it an octave too low?
