OS is Win 10. Clicking on desk-top icon opens the home page but the little blue circle just rotates and won't stop. I can't close the program. In trying to find out what's going on I ran a compatibility check, as I saw from one of the boxes I got to come up that only Win 8 is mentioned. I'll have to shut down the computer to close it. How can I get to open properly? It was OK a couple of days ago.

Have you tried the steps in this knowledge base article yet? If not, please try those steps out to see if there is a conflict with one of the printing or audio devices on your computer. There are links in each section to further troubleshooting if needed.

Finale 25 refuses to open for past 9 months. Uninstalled then reinstalled. Same story. Will not be purchasing any other products from this company who has left me unable to use 25 years of teaching materials. No support. No help. Just too bad so sad. Ridiculous.

Are you kidding? Finale was discontinued a year ago and Support ended last month for all users. They tried hard to email everybody and the internet has been drowning in the news for over a year. There are upgrades available to Dorico and Sibelius — MuseScore is still free. The license servers will be up "indefinitely". MakeMusic is a division of a $56B company that is very much alive but they made a decision to discontinue the notation app. Your version is nine years old, by the way.

 

It's possible that someone here can help but you've given us absolutely no information that can help us help you. Begin with your exact version and your OS and let's see what we can do.
