Hi all-

I'm on Finale V25.5.

Looking for some help with drum parts for big band. I've set up a 'dummy' stave above my drum stave to put rhythmic hits in that has 0 staff lines. When I create the part, there is a vertical line at the start of each system that connects the bottom stave to where the dummy stave is. Is there an option to get Finale not to draw this? In the score it isn't an issue as there are other staves above. See picture below:

The solution is that you move the barlines in the ‘dummy’ staff vertically down into the staff below.

This is done in the dialog box Staff Setup.
