Why in the world can't the ukulele be shown correctly they are all wrong when I put them into the music. I play soprano and the chords are not right. You do realize that the ukulele is a popular music not everyone plays guitar.

Welcome to the forum!
It is hard to find something Finale can not do, but we need more info from you:
- What version of Finale are you using? - perhaps v27?
We need a precise description of your problem.
Without a precise description we can only guess.
- What are you trying to achieve?
My guess is: enter chord symbols with fretboards (… or perhaps Ukulele Tablature?)
Note: Chord symbols are document specific, not program specific.
- How are you trying to do it?
My guess is: with the Chord Tool
- What happens when you do that?
Your words: “… the chords are not right …” “… not everyone plays guitar …”
My guess is: You get wrong chord fretboards, possibly guitar fretboards (… or perhaps uke fretboards for Baritone Uke?)
- What doesn't happen that you expect to happen?
My guess: correct chord fretboards for Soprano Uke
Anyway:
The standard soprano uke has the tuning G-C-E-A (bottom to top 4-3-2-1 string order).
My dog has fleas.
Also remembered as Good Cats Eat Ants.
Both G C E A and A D F♯ B are standard turnings for soprano, tenor, and concert ukes.
The baritone is tuned D G B E, just like the high strings of a guitar.
In the Default file the chord fretboards display the chords in D - G - B - E tuning which is the correct tuning for the Baritone Ske.
Soprano, tenor, and concert ukes use the Good Cats Eat Ants tuning.
You can get what you need, but it may take some work.
