I have a single page score that has two-stave groupings, like a piano score, but without brackets.  There are 5 groups on the page.  On the top three, there are little blue score lines in the margin.  I'm not sure how these got in the score, but they appear to be preventing me from adding brackets to the groups they are associated with.  Note I was able to add brackets to the lower 2 scores that do not have the little blue score lines.  How can I get rid of these?

What version of Finale? - perhaps v27?

Does the icon with the “little blue staff-lines” show in all tools?

In the screen shot it looks like you are in the Page Layout Tool.

That is the Resize Tool for staves instead of notes. Double-clicking and dragging the arrows should do what you want. It is accessible through Page Layout.

Thank you for your assist, Peter.  2008 version.  What I finally did was just start a new document and cut and paste the data into it.  This solved the issue.  I see Mike Halloran recognized what I accidentally clicked on to bring up the little blue staves.

You're welcome.

2008 version

That explains a lot. I had to do some creative searching till I found it referenced in an old manual.
