Went back to Finale after upgrading to the fourth developer seed of macOS Tahoe. As noted by others, the Stop button does not work in the playback window, but hitting the space bar does work to stop playback. I was able to initiate playback by hitting the Play button, so at least that works. Will report if I find anything else, but so far so good. I'm not actively using Finale these days but do use it to make any adjustments to a few older scores.

Still lots of big issues, some of which I did find as well with Sequoia: smart shapes are not functional (I can't create a crescendo or decrescendo hairpin, for example; it just comes out as a line). Right now, I'm having an issue with an old score in F27 in which there is clearly an invisible extra beat, and I can't get rid of it, no matter what I do except if I reenter all the notes through the end of the work. Maddening.

I despise working in Finale at this point. It's buggy, and has been so for a long time, and other than the stop button not working and some of the dialogues not being completely acknowledged with cmd-return (return works, but you have to then dismiss each dialogue window), it's not a matter of macOS Tahoe. The entire app is on life support. Use at your own risk.

I have written a composition for strings and winds; put the mp3 for each in a folder on my desktop. However, I am not able to line up each mp3 in order to hear all instruments together. It only plays one instrument. Can you give me a step by step of what do I need to do?

I responded to your cross post in the other thread. Please don’t post twice. It’s not relevant to this thread so I will not respond here.
