I've used hidden rests (& hidden time signature changes) to simulate a caesura and control the length I want.

I have a suggestion the same way there is an option to control the Fermata, they should add controls on the caesura.

You should post that in the Feature Request section of the forum. I agree, it would be a helpful addition. I know that you can adjust it a little, but better controls would be nice, on both the caesura, and the breath comma.

Requesting this as a feature is a good idea; but you asked a question and--whether work-around or not--I presented you with a solution. Whether it is useful or not is up to you. If you have time to wait for MM to act on your suggestion, that's good. If you are pressed for time, I gave you an avenue to explore. That is what we do on this forum in order to help each other to the best of our ability.

If you don't want to see work-arounds, perhaps you should say, "I want to suggest a new feature, if it does not exist already." Folks here will still appreciate your thoughts.
