Band in the Box Auto Composing not available in Finale 25

This is a valuable tool to have eliminated, especially with the high price of the Finale 25 upgrade.

If Band in the Box is not compatible with 64 bit, then Finale should provide and alternative that does the same function.

Paying more for a system that does less is not a great way to keep a happy customer base.

That is correct. As BIAB is still a 32 bit program, it can't be incorporated in 25 which is 64 bit only.

Since only BIAB does what it does, that's just silly.

I am one of many badgering PG Music to make it 64 bit. As Apple has announced that the next Mac OS will not support 32 bit only applications, it is possible that this may yet happen—if not, they will have big problems when a large installed user base can no longer ... uh ... use it, myself included.

Whether or not MM makes a BIAB (type?) plug-in available for Finale, once it's technically possible, is a business decision for them to make.

Don't get me wrong. I like BIAB and was introduced to it through the Finale plug-in (2002? I don't remember). I only used it once but it was on a project with a short deadline—saved my life.

I since bought BIAB and have the 2017 Audiophile version for Mac. Without a 64 bit version, it will be my last purchase from PG Music.
