Try going into Scroll view. You should be able to find the end.

Or, delete the lyric it's attached to, and re-enter it.

P.S.  I tried to use the line from the special tools instead of the word extension and.  The line flies around when I scroll the document (page view)and I can't get it to stay in place.

Thanks for your interest.  I've had lots of issues with this file.  It's abnormal for 2 reasons: 1) While correcting things in Finale, the original file disappeared when I tried to save it, so that I couldn't save it even though I had it in memory and was viewing it on my screen. I exported it to musxml and then saved as musx.  2)  It's an attempt to use Mensurstriche notation.  I think it's the latter that makes Finale go crazy.  Especially difficult working with lyrics, word extnsions, system breaks, and breath marks, although I've been able to do almost everything.  The line tool (in expressions, not special tools, my mistake) was necessary for word extensions that went wild some of the time at system breaks.  I brute-forced through the problems that caused this original post and was able eventually to finish correcting the file.  I think this file is too abnormal for you to be interested, but I'll send it if wish.  Incidentally, I'm trying to develop a set of aids for recreating the early 20th century Mensurstriche on Finale.   It's really slow, though.
