When we go to the trouble of providing possible solutions to (usually) newbie questions, don't we at least deserve an "It worked, thanks," or, "It didn't; got any other ideas," or something similar?

Remember, people, we aren't MM employees, getting paid for their time. (Although, they certainly deserve thanks, as well.) We're doing it because we get the warm fuzzies when we can help people. Maybe we need to go back to the RTFM model.

I wonder those same things.

When someone gives feedback on a suggestion, it helps others with the same issue. This is true whether it worked or not.
