I'm using PrintMusic 2011, Windows 7. In current manuscript, all the clef signs have disappeared except in the very first measure! How did this happen, and how do I fix it? I've tried everything I can think of, to no avail. I've almost finished with final editing and I would so hate to lose all that I've done over this issue.

Two things you might try:

Copy the document into a new one, or export it as Music XML, and reimport it.

 

(Before someone chimes in about Document Options... > Clefs, PM doesn't have that option!)

How did you begin the document? The configuration you describe is common as a jazz lead sheet or part.

(Presumably you can change this in PrintMusic; Mike R would be the best person to describe how.)

You can show or hide clefs—you have it configured as a lead sheet and this can be changed. I don't have PrintMusic 2011 but this will be in the manual and help files.

Mike,

You don't have the option to show clefs or not, in PM. You can change them, but not hide them. It depends on how the document is set up.
