Does anyone know when the next version of Finale is supposed to be released? Is there a new version on the horizon? I am about start my masters in the fall, and I want to have the most up-to-date version when I begin in August.
In years past, when a new version was announced, it has always shipped in the late Fall, generally October. Finale hasn't had annual upgrades since 2012.
"The current paradigm is to stay with F25, and just use incremental updates/fixes. So you can buy what's there, now, and update as they come out. Newest release is 25.5."

You want it in place in August? No reason not to buy now and take the next 5 months to learn it inside and out.
