Hi all, my laptop was recently stolen with my Finale program in it (I have the latest version). I want to purchase an iPad and continue to use finale on my iPad - does anyone know if I’m able to use the same account/serial number/etc to continue to use Finale that way? Thanks!

Finale for the iPad does not exist. 

 

You can can manage your Finale authorizations in your MakeMusic Users Account to de-authorize your stolen laptop and reauthorize it on a new pc or Mac.

 

Notion for iOS works pretty well and can exchange data with Finale via MusicXML $14.99. It can’t do the heavy lifting of Finale, of course, but it’s not bad at all.

I use a 12.9” iPad Pro. I can do about 90% of my work on it but that other 10% ... I need my iMac. Even that 90% isn’t as fast or efficient. It is nice to go to business meetings or be able to work in hotel rooms or even in my car and know I can get something accomplished.

 

Notion let’s me sketch ideas as they come to me. I don’t use it’s full functionality, of course, since I will finish up anything in Finale.
