Finale 2016 macbook pro

I have a somewhat lengthy concerto movement I arranged as a duet several years ago and, back then and even today, it refuses to have a final bar line.  Instead, it is putting a double barline.  I found another file with the same music that works correctly, but it would take me GOBS of time to get all the details in place.  Is there any hope - I've tried it on both single staff part and score.  I've gotten "invisible measure" to work, but the final bar line simply will not work.  HELP!

Go to

Document menu > Document Options > Barlines

and take a look at the line thicknesses.

* What thickness is the Heavy Line Thickness?

* What thickness is the Thin Line Thickness?

 

My first guess would be that both thicknesses are set to the same value.

That would explain why the Final Barline looks like a Double Barline.

 

For the Heavy Line’s thickness, try a value like 3pt.

For the Thin Line, try something like 1pt.
