I wrote a piece in NotePad for handbells but had to voice it as piano as handbells was not an option.  I've since converted to PrintMusic, which has a handbell voice.  I'd like to change the voice in my piece without having to copy it all over into a new Handbell piece.

Rename the part.

Assign a handbell sound to the part (if that possibility exists in PrintMusic).

Transpose by an octave if necessary (either on the score or by resetting the instrument transposition if that is possible in PM) to help the written notation correspond to that expected for Handbells, since handbells transpose at the octave.

Simple. PM even has a Handbell template. Just copy your piano score, and paste it into the new template. You can adjust the transposition in the Score Manager.
