Hey Gang,

I'm having an ongoing problems with mid-measure clefs. When I create a second mid-measure clefs, the last one never stays where I place it. Is there a way to keep BOTH mid-measure clef additions rooted to one place in the score?!?

I'm using latest version of Finale and I've had this version with every single version.

Thanks!!

I am not sure I understand, perhaps because I have never experienced the problem myself.

You are talking about two mid-measure clefs “rooted” to the same beat, right?

Perhaps we need more info.

Could you give exact steps to reproduce the problem?

Notice the bass clef below - I've inserted a mid measure treble clef AND a bass clef BEFORE the last 2 notes. Unfortunately Finale auto adjusts the bass clef and moves it to the end of the measure.

As you can see, this makes no sense.

How can I keep the bass clef from not moving to the far right side of the measure?!?

Looks like a cross-staff problem. Try reversing it so that the tuplet begins in the bottom staff for the second half of the measure.
