I know that this is a really old version of Finale so sorry in advance, but I've had consistent problems with MIDI playback in Finale Allegro 2007. The one specific persistent issue is the fact that I can't get the same note to play if it's written for two different instruments in the same measure. For example, if I have F# as an eighth note on the first beat of a measure for Violin 1, and I also want Violin 2 to hold F# as a whole note for the entire measure, when I try to listen to that measure I only hear the F# for the duration of that first eighth note. Can anyone help me solve this?
