I have not used my finale software in a few years. I have just written some music and it will not let me save or print it. I get the following error message.Saving and printing have been disabled because your authorization grace period has expired. Please authorize Finale to re-enable these features. I can't seem to authorize and I can't find the serial number. Any suggestions?

Log into your Finale account, and go to the My Software tab. Assuming you paid for and registered the product back then, you should see it listed, along with the serial number.

If it isn’t there, you will have to contact customer support.

You don’t give your OS. It matters in this case, especially on a Mac.

If you installed in OS 10.9 Mavericks or earlier, what Mike R says will work. The Finale 2011 Authorization client does not work in Yosemite and newer. If that’s your case, you need to upgrade.

If you are able to roll back to Mavericks, you can authorize and update the OS through Sierra. Some features will not work including Human Playback—there are others. There is no possible way to make 2011 work in High Sierra.

I have tested this.
