Make sure you are in the right layer and/or verse. How are you trying to select?

Double clicking on the lyric should put you in the correct spot.

I understand voices (shift '). I don't know 'layers'.

As noted above, sometimes it highlights on double click but mostly it won't. When it does I don't know why. When it doesn't i don't know why.

Layers is Finalespeak for voices, and the terms are often used interchangeably. (But they really aren't.)

i got it outside of lyrics tool, accidentally was in far left corner, northwest arrow, whatever that is. that put lyric in a box and del key worked. Lyrics are gone. Thx for timely responses.
