By the way why is it not possible anymore to upload pdf?

I mean it would be the easiest format to upload regarding finale questions...

Not only can you not post a PDF, you can't even post a Finale file. This forum software is horrible, as we've said since it was implemented.

Are you an experienced Finale user?

I am not sure how detailed instructions you need.

From the Expression Tool, double-click the staff.

In the Expression Selection, select the category Tempo Marks, then click “Create Tempo Mark…”.

In the Expression Designer, select the radio button ‘Shape’ (not ‘Text’), and de-select ‘Allow Horizontal Stretching’.

Then, click “Create…”.

You end in the Shape Designer which is a drawing environment inside Finale.

When you are in the Shape Designer, the Shape Designer menu is available in the Menu Bar.

In the Shape Designer menu there are several commands, including the options of Grouping or Ungrouping selected items.

In the Shape Designer window you have a tool bar with various drawing tools, including a Text Tool (where you can create text blocks), and a Selection Tool.

I created my shape by entering several text blocks (using characters from several fonts).

I positioned the text blocks via the Selection Tool where I selected a text block, and nudged it with the Arrow keys.

I hope that this is clear?

I need to submit my score in 2 days and i really don't know how to do without putting the metric modulation.

Old post, but let me see if I get an answer. Peter, thanks for the help. It's pretty easy to design any tuplet bracket in the designer, but how do you get the notes in there? I have a bunch of metric modulations, but the first is quadruplet eighth equals eighth.
