I would like to find someone who can/will transcribe some non-copyrighted piano scores into Finale. I have Finale 2014.5.0.6359 and use Windows 10 64-bit. Will send pdf's of the original scores and ask for a quote. Anyone willing to help? Reply to jc5122@yahoo.com

I'd be willing to do it. Been using Finale for 8 years now so I know my way around the program. What is your compensation?

Hi Nicole,

I have 12 piano pieces that are in the public domain, and I would like them all written/transcribed into Finale so I can change keys, notes, and various  parts with ease. I am currently using Finale 2014.5.0.6359, and am working on a PC running Windows 10.  Do you have the time or the interest to work on this project? I so, I could send you pdf's of the music and you could then quote me a price and a timeline. I would appreciate a timely response, as I am getting very close to production, and I need the piano scores for rehearsals. Based on what I've read/seen on the Internet, the going rate for transcriptions of this sort seems to be $20-$25/hr. with a discount for quantity. Please let me know how this sets with you.

Thank you,

John

Hi John,

My name is Alex. Nicole is my mom who made the account I used to reply to you. I haven’t yet changed the name attached to it. I’m very interested in transcribing the pieces for you but would obviously need to see the sheet music first before I can give you any estimates. Could you send me the links please? Thanks.

Hi again John,

I'm replying to this thread again just in case you did not get/see my email that I had sent earlier today.

Hi Alex,

I received and replied to your email (sen to my Yahoo address), and attached six of the twelve piano scores that I'd like transcribed into Finale. Could you send me a direct email address? I'm not sure if I can attach PDF's to a message in the Finale Blog. One way or another we'll see if we can agree on a fee and get things done.

P.S. If you know how to use the blog to attach a link that will bring up the PDFs, I'd be willing to try it,
Hope to hear from you soon.

This forum doesn't allow that. Either use the direct email, or post your files in your DropBox account, and send them the link.

I strongly suggest you don't post email addresses or phone numbers in clear. Use substitute characters that will fool the bots, like "john at gmail dot com."
