I have Finale version 26.0.1.706, working on a MacBook Pro Version 10.11.6
I have found the "2 measure repeat" tool however the only way I've been able to apply the tool is consequently putting 2 measure repeats for said part through the whole piece...
Does anyone know how to apply the 2 measure repeat to just a specific set of measures and not the whole piece?
From your description it sounds like you are confusing Staff Attributes and staff styles.
Staff Attributes are “global” = for all the measures in the entire document.
On The Other hand, a staff style can be applied to a selected region only, thus altering the Staff Attributes “locally”.
You should use the Two-Bar Repeat as a staff style, not as Staff Attributes.
