Hello,

I have been recently been unable to select new MIDI sounds, add new instruments, or any other action that has a drop-down window within the ScoreManager Instrument List. 

I will hover my mouse over what I want to select, and when I click the the drop-down window simply closes and then nothing is changed.

I have tried deleting and recreating the Finale preference files three times now, and it has not fixed the issue. 

Has anyone else experienced this and know how to fix it?

I forgot to mention that I am running version 25.5.0.290

Have you rebooted the computer?

 

Have you tried setting up a new document, to see if the problem persists?

Hi Mike,

I have rebooted my computer multiple times and the problem continues. 

It also continues with every new document I make.

What is your computer OS?
