Can't remember having this problem before, but do now! Ok, 6/8 time signature. Want to create triplets-eighth note followed by sixteenth note in the space of 1/8. No problem until I get to the last eighth note in the bar, meaning, I create a triplet of three sixteenth notes rests, replace the first with the note I want to be the eighth note, erase the middle rest, and add the final sixteenth in place of the last rest...kabish? But I can't do that on the final eighth note...what am I missing, and thank you folks who are smarter at this than me!!!
