I posted this earlier, but I don't see it in my submitted requests so I assume it's the far reaches of cyber-ville. So I am re-post-ing ...
Running Finale 26 on Win 7 PC.
(1) When I select a tempo marking or tempo alteration marking (either library expression like "Adagio" or "rit" or one I created like "QUARTER NOTE = 98") and try to apply it to a measure, the tempo expression does not appear in the score and the playback does comply with the tempo I entered. All other categories seem to work. When I enter "expressive", "miscellaneous", "technique" etc etc they all work fine. But not tempo or tempo alterations. (That's in v26 - in my old 2014.5 version, they all work perfectly.)
(2) How do I change the order of the categories in the frame on the left side of the expression dialog box? I want "all", "dynamics" and "tempo" at the top followed by expressive, technique etc. In my old Finale 2014.5, they were ordered as I wanted them. But in the niew v26 stuff like miscellaneous, technique, expressive, etc head the list.
