Recover Overwritten Music Project?

I accidentally saved a project over another project. Is there any way I can recover the overwritten file? I did not back up the project...

What OS? If on a Mac, you can restore it if you have a Time Machine backup.

You might check to see if your older file is saved in the Finale Backup folder in your computer.

(You'll probably need to save the name, including extension to musx) before trying to open.

(File path may be different for a Mac, but it should be listed in the Preferences > File Folders panel.)
