I will loose the cursor sometimes when switching tools. The quick fix is to CMD-tab to toggle to another app then cmd-tab back to F26. Weird.

Sorry you are having this trouble. That sounds atypical; I have never experienced it.

It's a new one for me as well. I rebooted (Mac) in "Safe Boot" and then restarted. Still doing it. I'll report to MM. Thanks for your post.

Michael,

I have an occasional problem where the cursor disappears; it seems to go "behind" the tool pallets. I have reported it.

Could this problem relate specifically to Mac OS  versions of Finale?

Anything is possible. I'm on Sierra (10.12.5). Mike Rosen is on 10.13.6, so I doubt it is specific to the OS version, but it could be a third party conflict or it could be a remote conflict elsewhere. I hesitate to call it a "bug" as that word tends to be bandied about recklessly (even by moi). ;) Yet, it persists fairly often.

Luis,

Send it in to tech support. I don't remember what/if there was a solution.

It persists on my machine (20.14.6) and quite frequently. Selecting a tool from the menu will sometimes fix it but it is annoying and time consuming.

When troubleshooting, I have the Activity Monitor open. The instant something glitches, I look for a marker that turns red. Drilling down will show if there’s a conflict.

I’ve had to remove Corel products from my Mac except for Roxio Toast due to a monitoring daemon that caused all sorts of annoying little issues. Toast does not use the Corel daemon. Drove me nuts till the Activity Monitor revealed the culprit.
