Is there a way to have repeat sign automatically change their numbers? For instance, when I create a 1st and 2nd ending with the Repeat Tool, it puts a number 1 in the first ending, and a number 2 in the 2nd ending. It would be great if I put numbers 1,2,3 in the 1st ending, and Finale would automatically put a 4 in the 2nd ending. 

Is that a feature that is already there of which I'm not aware?

No, it's not available. Another reason is that it could be something else than 4 : 4, 5, 6 for instance.

1, 2, 3 in the first ending, etc... is of course possible, using Edit Ending and entering it in the box Alternate Text.
