Sometimes doing the simplest thing in Finale is a major problem. I need to delete 40 pages of my score. Is there any way to delete these at one shot, instead of either eliminating everything on the page, then deleting BLANK pages etc?

Why in the world did someone at finale only thing we wanted to delete BLANK pages? it's nuts.

For the same reason that they think the Swing expression should only apply to a single staff, and that new pages should not automatically be the same size and layout as the preceding pages. Like you say, nuts.

Anyway, select and delete whatever you want gone. Then, Update Layout should eliminate all the blank pages at once.

Thanks!

I think there is a very long list of those nuts things - the thing that drives me "nuts", is that they don't fix them in the upgrades no matter how people complain - a prime example is the playback - suppose you have a score and want to see the last five staves in the playback - nope, if you size the page to see those staves, when you start the pb it will flip to some uncontrollable default and you can't see those staves.

I've been using this thing for 18 years and I have seen that they care less and less about the customers.
