Hey folks.... very frustrated with Finale.... I do 20 projects a year maybe ( not many) and it seems every time I start a project I spend a half a day trying to get started.... I'm sure most of this is my error.... Today I am doing a piano score of a pop tune...... I'm a decent player but it seems no matter how I enter it in hyper scribe it comes out looking pretty strange. Are there appropriate settings for a piano score...ie sustain pedal issues etc.
and 2...... I just had a piano sound set up to play... when I hit record with hyper scribe the piano sound went away and no midi signal was going into Finale..... however there was a signal going into other midi programs such as Logic Pro.... pls help
