Error message "printer in an error state" is incorrect. I can print files that are not in Finale. I've tried turning the printer off and on, but the problem persists.
Printing is one area where there are big differences among versions and operating systems. In addition, Finale behaves differently from other applications.
Knowing what printer and how it’s connected (directly vs print server or network) is also useful.
