Win 10, Fin 2012c

  I occasionally find notes de-tuning on established pieces which normally have little to no problem.  I've watched the Mod wheel on the Aria Player, and it doesn't seem to be involved.

  I'm in a public area, so I have to consider that it might be electronic interference... someone's cute idea of a "jam" session?

  However, as soon as I use the MIDI tool, and highlight a section, the problem disappears.  It's good for at least one run-through, then it de-tunes again.

Are there any glissandi in the Finale document?

There sure are--it's a Big Band piece with tbn slides and trumpet falls.  I noticed that, if I stopped the music where one is written, it seemed to hold that setting when I would press Play again.  But it would do it at other times, too (where there are no effects), which didn't seem to make sense.

But,, is that the cause?

Could be.

As a test, make a duplicate copy of the Finale document.

Open the duplicate copy, and delete all glissandi.

Did the problem go away?
