I am running trusty 2014.5.  I have inputted a 4 part Bach chorale , using 2 layers.  I am now trying to do the harmonic analysis beneath.  I follow all the instructions to choose Numerics Font, however I notice in the preview window for the font, it is blank?    Anyhow I use Lyric tool, enter in the first chord and the font looks like normal font (Times), and the numbers are normal size, not small sized.  And I can not use shift key to get the numbers to stack, like the instructions say.  What am I doing wrong here?    I am running a mac.

What version of Mac OS?

Finale 2014.5 has some issues with the latest versions of Mac OS.

OSX 10.12.   I was actually able to get the Numeric font to work, once I realized I had to be in Layer 1.  Now my main issue is I can't seem to figure out how to input secondary dominants, without the slash covering up the figured bass numbers?  Does anyone know how to space the slash over one space to right?  When I hit space it takes me to the next beat.    I also determined that I can not run finale 2014.5 on my new iMac which is Mojave, so that is a bummer.  Luckily I have other old macs that still work.  But still rather lame.

Just wanted to update, after trying to ask my question to the Finale support site, they ultimately responded with they dont support 2014.5.  So I did more extensive research, and finally, located an answer.  I had to locate the character map, then scroll way down at the end, and it had use the ` to create a space between characters.  wow , how can I be the only person who ever needed that?  Again I am in Numeric font, lyrics, typing below the staff doing roman numeral analysis, and the key below the ESC key will give you 1 space so you can put in secondary dominants without it fucking up the figured bass symbols.
