After play back, grace notes and tremolos add a bunch of lighter-shaded notes:

To be clear, here are the two measures pre-playback:

The “lighter-shaded notes” are hidden, they do not print - they are {Playback Only}.

 

If you do not want to see the “lighter-shaded” playback notes on the computer screen:

View menu > Show > Hidden Notes and Rests (de-select)
