OS X Capitan

iMac (20-inch, Early 2008)

5 GB 800 MHz DDR2 SDRAM

Dear Friends:

Do any of you know a particular website for publishing manuscripts? I would also add synthesizer music with music pieces to assist those who are listening. The pieces will have pictures to enhance the music. I will post the music as JPEG's. I would appreciate any suggestions you have. Thanks very much. -Ed Kalish

I don't know any that meet your exact requirements.

 

There are sites through which you publish and sell your music. Some let you sell downloads, others will print and deliver while there are those that do both. The sites take a percentage. 

 

One of the better known sites is My Score, a service of JW Pepper. My daughter does some nice business through it.

There are other sites. Driving traffic to these sites is your job.

Ed, I've used Sheet Music Press, and have made some on it.  It's been pretty user-friendly, but I don't know how competitive their rates are.  Ads are the same with them; it's your responsibility.

and, Hi, Mike,

  Thanks for all the previous help on my issues.  Great to see this about my old HS band days publisher (Hal Leonard also has a site, I guess, but am not very familiar with it).

  It seems a real shame that Finale/MakeMusic doesn't have a publishing site for those of us who arrange band music...

  I was going to do a feature request, but I'll try this first.
