I can playback through MIDI but I have no wound when attempting to playback through VST.  I do have a positive audio test but can't get any score to play through VST.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled three times now.  what next?

What version of Finale and what computer operating system (and version) are you using?

The Finale demo, for example, does not come with the Garritan files needed for VST.

I am running Finale v26.  Windows 10.

I also can play through MIDI but not through VST but in my case I can't hear anything when I click  "Test Audio Output"

Michael,

 

Have you ever been able to access the Garritan VST sounds, or is this your first experience with Finale?

 

The reason I ask is that some people, when they first use Finale, load the program but do not realize that the installer continues and that installing the Aria Player and then the VST sounds themselves are separate steps.

In my case, after a few hours searching the internet i found out that I needed to go to Dell website and update the audio driver. Now everything works fine.
