Log in to your Finale account. Choose My Account > My Software.

 

You can download the software from there.

Was PrintMusic available for download before 2012? The full version of Finale wasn't (and still isn't).

 

You can certainly manage your licenses from your MakeMusic account. Hopefully, you have your CD somewhere. If not, you'll need to obtain a copy. Since you manage your license from your MakeMusic account, you don't need anything other than the media.

 

If I'm wrong on Print Music, please correct me and I'll try to remember next time it comes up.

I went to my account, and it showed it as available to download. I checked before I posted! We were told for years that they didn’t have any of the older versions (BS, IMHO.) Maybe they “found” some?

Thanks for clarifying, Mike. Do you know how far back that goes?

 

It makes me wonder why the full version of Finale wasn't made available for download till 2012.

 No idea.

 

It might have been a bandwidth issue, in the early days, and would have taken too long to download.
