When I upgraded from 2014.5 to V26 it was a disaster. Sometimes the files wouldn't load. The garritan instruments were in different locations so I could not use certain instruments in both versions. If you upgraded from 2014 (or 2012) to V26 how did it go for you? i'm now worried about V26 updates and later upgrades.
Some adjustments were necessary (it was a long time ago, but I recall staccato chords suddenly had multiple dots above them as Finale separated the articulations out on each note of the chord). I certainly saved the new file under a different name, as I do just about any time I change a file. So I have backups just in case.
