I am trying to enter quintuplets but never even get to the tuplet dialog box. Every time I try to enter a tuplet into my score by shift-clicking, the entire program crashes. Tried at least five times. Help!

Please specify the steps you've already taken, so that we can rule out things.

- Have you tried both the Simple Entry Tool and the Speedy Entry Tool? Both entry tools have a Tuplet (sub-)Tool.

- Have you rebooted the computer?

- Have you tried trashing Finale’s Preferences file?

- Tested a brand new user account?

Why (and where) are you shift-clicking? I have never found that to be necessary.
