I often use two monitors when working with Finale. My Finale score will be in one monitor and my recording software will be in the other. When I click out of the active Finale monitor and into the other monitor, then, bounce back to the Finale monitor, the main tool palette randomly moves from the bottom of the screen, where I want it, to somewhere in the middle. This has never happened in prior versions (and I've been using Finale since 1990). Has anyone else experienced this bug, and is there a fix?

Mac toolbars float but will change depending on how you have Spaces set up.

I explored my Spaces options in Mission Control settings, but nothing seemed to remedy the floating main tool palette issue. I am thinking it might have something to do with the fact that the monitor that I use with Finale is in portrait view, to accommodate orchestral scores, while my laptop monitor is is landscape view. Going with that thinking, I wondered what would happen if I launched Finale from the external monitor instead of launching from the laptop, where the application is located. It appears that this is the remedy. So far, launching from the external monitor is keeping the main tool palette from moving.
