I am a long-time Finale user (since Finale 98) with a recent upgrade to v26.2.1.468 on Windows 10.

As I search through the community posts on the issue I'm encountering, I find several similar posts. Here's one from a year ago: Unwanted numbers appearing in PDF margins

In my case, the numbers appear at the bottom margin of the score, with an occasional overlap onto the lowest stave on the page. This problem occurs whether generating a pdf for score or parts via the Export option (File>Export>PDF) or via the Graphics Tool menu option.

As with the post from a year ago (where v25 for Windows 10 was used), the unwanted numbers appear to be associated with incidences of "tuplets" used in the score.  Below is a screen print showing the bottom margin of page 2 of one 30-page score (where the issue occurs on 13 pages):

I've reviewed several of the suggested work-arounds without yet having the time to explore any of these as a practical means of generating a reliably clean PDF.

I agree with one poster from last year (using v25 with Windows 10) that "This problem creates blemishes on otherwise very professional-looking scores/parts..."

Q: As a "known issue" does Finale have any projected timeline for a fix?

Thank you!

Ok... you might want to try that. You can also use the Submit a request link at the top of the page to send it to Tech Support.

This is a Users board. As to what MM plans, has already implemented etc. you have to ask them and check their blogs.
