Hello,

I am writing a piece which is in 8/8 but beamed as 3+3+2. I've attempted to use "Composite Time Signature" and type what follows as suggested by the Finale User's Manual:

Beat groups:   3+3+2

Beat duration: 8+8+8

However, when entering eight notes in my file, there is no beaming whatsoever. I am doing what is indicated in the manual, so is there another step Finale has failed to explain?
