If you have the correct version of Aria Player installed, there’s no reason why it wouldn’t work — except for those unknown factors that you haven’t told us.

Thanks Mike. This worked just fine. Just a couple of additional questions: What can I do to prevent this problem from recurring - is there something that might trigger the loss of the Garritan link when closing or reopening Finale? Should I always return to your website for the current Garritan download? I used an earlier version to download the Aria files and the Garritan files and that didn't work. Appreciate your help.

This issue is rare but not unheard of and affects both Mac and Win users (but for different reasons). In short, if after an OS or version update, Finale or another app doesn’t want to behave, try reinstalling and a reboot first.
