Do you get the transposition dialogue box? Have you restarted the computer?

Yes and yes.  I am trying to edit parts under the Document menu. Most intervals transpose, but

the Preserve original notes does not work when editing Parts. It does work under Edit Score. 

The Transposition is grayed out when editing Parts, but not the Score. 

If it worked that way in the older version, I would certainly suggest that you send it in to tech support.

I see Transpose percussion notes grayed out, but not the standard Transpose command.

It is grayed out under Utilities when I try to Edit Parts under the  Document heading.  If I 

right click on a measure to transpose and octave and preserve the original note, the octave will

transpose, but the original is no longer there.
