Finale version:26.2.2.494

Operating sys: Windows 10 Pro - Version 1903

I have a whole series of dynamics in a score.  When I go to extract parts, I go through manage parts, generate a new set, save them out.  All seems to work normally.  Here's the problem.  The vast majority of dynamic markings put in through the expression tool (i.e. mf, f, mp, ...) in the score, don't show up on the parts.  Note that I said the vast majority.  Occasionally a marking will be present.  These dynamic markings all appear to  be tied to Layer 1 which is where they should be if the layer matters at all in this case.  I have also checked to be sure that the expressions are set to "Show", again not sure that this has anything to do with the problem.

In the case of the first trpt. part, only one dynamic marking shows up at the end of measure 101 (sfz).  Note that there are several sfz in the chart but only one shows up.  Mystery!!!

Any insights as to what is causing the problem or how to fix it will be greatly appreciated.

One thing to verify : make sure that the dynamics are attached to the correct staff.

They are.  This is affecting all of the parts in the score.

Then, look if any score lists are used that would display expressions in the score, but not in all parts. But normally, the original Dynamics category doesn't have Score lists.

Another category, maybe?

Exact same issue the way it is described above. Went to Document - Show Active Layer Only, and turned it off. Dynamic Expressions then showed up when I extracted parts.

You know you posted on a 4 year old topic. You may want to start your own new thread but if not the best thing is if you can u/l that offending file to a Dropbox or Google drive and let us have a look at it. I am positive one of us will have an answer. Post your file and give us the link. You can delete it after we look see.

I am curious why you and the OP are using extracted parts in favor of linked parts. Unless a specific need linked parts are the preferred way to go.
