Try changing your default music font to Maestro

I went in to preferences and tried to set at Maestro. It said it was already defaulted.   Can you be more specific?  Thanks in advance.

Then you might want to check the font settings in your Document Preferences.

You have not told us which version of Finale you are using, nor your computer's Operating System and version. Both could end up being helpful.
